The Fourth Vow of Success

"Never will I be disaggreable to a living soul."

I will treat others in the way I want to be treated.

I will smile at every person I meet, whether my friend or enemy, so they will reply in kind.

I will praise each one for every good deed so one can recognize the goodness in me.

I will show concern for others so they won't turn their backs on me when I need help.

I will bestow a smile and a kind word to open more doors and to soften calloused hearts.

A simple act of kindness and caring words will soothe, quiet and comfort a distressed soul every minute of every hour of every day.

At the end of the day, I pray that at least I have made one person a little happier, or a little wiser or even a little more content with himself.

The Third Vow of Success

"Always will I bathe my days in the golden glow of enthusiasm."

I will arm myself with three powerful allies: confidence, pride and enthusiasm.

I am confident that I can face every challenge that I will encounter everyday.

I am proud that I can perform every task to the best of my ability.

I am a child that can always greet everyday with enthusiasm.

I will sustain my enthusiasm indefinitely, honestly and sincerely so that it becomes a habit.

I will be fearless like the youth in my quest for truth, energy and beauty.

"Today, I will raise my candle on high and smile at everyone."

The Second Vow of Success

"Never again will I greet the dawn without a map."

I will set goals for the day, the week, the month, the year and my life.

My dreams are my wish list.

My goals are those I want to accomplish before the end of the day which serve as the bricks of my future home.

As I fulfill every small task of the day, no matter how boring or menial it may be, I will be able to build my castle one brick at a time to house my dreams.

The First Vow Of Success

One of my favorite authors, Og Mandino, in his book, "The Greatest Salesman in the World Part II The End of the Story", mentioned the first vow of success: "Never again will I pity or belittle myself."

Thus, no longer will I look down on myself, my accomplishments or lack of it. I was born to succeed, to triumph and to toast victories.

I am my worst enemy.

I am not a coward, a miser or a fool.

A coward thinks he is just being cautious. While a miser believes that he is just being frugal.

I am wise. I am happy. I am not a fool.

A wise man learns from his own experience. A happy man learns from the experience of others. Whereas, a fool neither learns from his experience nor from the experience of others.

God created me in His own image and likeness. He gifted me with skills, intelligence, courage and ambition unique to me. There is nothing I cannot achieve if I believe in myself and I seek for His guidance.

The Five Secrets Of Success According to John Izzo

In life, these are the five secrets you must discover before you die according to Dr. John Izzo:

TO BE TRUE TO YOURSELF

TO LEAVE NO REGRETS

TO BECOME LOVE

TO LIVE THE MOMENT

TO GIVE MORE THAN YOU TAKE

The Tenth Scroll: Guide me, God

Who is of so little faith that in a moment of great disaster or heartbreak has not called to his God?
Are not our cries a form of prayer? Henceforth, I will pray, but my cries for help will only be cries for guidance.
Never will I pray for the material things of the world. I am not calling to a servant to bring me food. Never will I seek delivery of gold, love, good health, petty victories, fame, success or happiness. Only for guidance will I pray that I may be shown the way to acquire these things, and my prayer will be answered.
The guidance I seek may come, or the guidance I seek may not come, but are not both of these an answer?
I will pray for guidance, and I will pray as a salesman in this manner:
Oh, Creator of the world, help me. For this is the day I go out into the world, naked and alone. And without your hand to guide me, I will wander far from the path which leads to success and happiness.
You have taught the lion and eagle how to hunt and prosper. Teach me how to hunt with words and prosper with love so that I can be a lion among men and an eagle in the marketplace.
Help me to remain humble through obstacles and failures, yet hide not from mine eyes the prize that will come with victory.
Assign me tasks to which others have failed, yet guide me to pluck the seeds of success from their failures. Confront me with fears that will temper my spirit, yet endow me with courage to laugh at my misgivings.
Guide me in my words, that they may bear fruit, yet silence me from gossip that none be maligned.
Discipline me in the habit of trying and trying sgain yet show me the way to make use of the law of averages. Favor me with alertness to recognize opportunity yet endow me with patience to concentrate my strength.
Bathe me in good habits that the bad ones drown.
Yet grant me compassion for weaknesses in others. Suffer me to know that all things shall pass; yet help me to count my blessings of today.
Expose me to hate, so it not be a stranger, yet fill my cup with love to turn strangers into friends.
But these entire things be only if Thy will. I am a small and a lonely grape clutching the vine , yet Thou hast made me different from all the others. Verily, there must be a special place for me. Guide me. Help me. Show me the way.
Let me become all you planned for me.
Help this humble salesman.
Guide me, God.
